The southern view of the building displays another porch and entrance into the maple syrup evaporator room and storage room.  Double-hung windows provide a clear view into the evaporator room.  The porch will serve as a holding area for fuel and maple sap, during maple syrup production.  It will also serve as a loading area for the storage room and for the removal of the evaporator (if necessary).
